The project “dance4life” is an international initiative which aims to unite 1 mln agents of change-young people who made an essential input to push back HIV by the end of 2014..





     The project has been successfully implemented in 25 countries of the world such as: USA, Turkey, Great Britain, Ireland, Moldove, Russia and etc. Kyrgyzstan became the first Central Asian country within the project and PU RHAK became the National Concept Owner with the support of UNFPA.





     In 2010 PU RHAK is planning to cover 5000-6000 young people at the age of 15-19 years old from all the regions of the country through the implementation of the first project step and also to provide life skills trainings to at least half of them.





The project represents a set of prevention activities that solve 4 consecutive objectives:

         To inspire young people to get knowledge

     To attract young people for actions to push back HIV

        To stimulate the most active project participants



     To support youth initiatives the project attracts as ambassadors different actors, journalists and public figures who are popular among young people.






     PU RHAK in partnership with youth network Y-PEER conducts a national campaign in mass media and implements dance4life program which consists of 4 steps: Mobilization-Heart Connection Tours,Skills4life-education in the sphere of sexual and reproductive health and rights and HIV/AIDS, Act4life-advocacy and a global event, every 2 years celebration on the last Saturday before the World’s Aids Day. It is an opportunity to unite young agents of change and make their messages to national and world leaders heard.
